Leukaemia Busters funds the development of new treatments for currently incurable forms of leukaemia. By using antibodies, it is possible to mount an attack directly on the leukaemia cell without causing damage to normal cells in the patient´s body, unlike conventional anti-leukaemia drugs that damage everything.

Leukaemia Busters has funded the development of three new antibody-based treatments and conducted three early clinical trials with two of these drugs. We rely entirely on public donations and need your support to continue our life-saving work.

The charity draws inspiration from Simon Flavell who died in 1990 at the age of ten with a very aggressive form of childhood leukaemia - then the only child of Dr´s David and Sopsamorn Flavell who have dedicated their lives ever since to finding a cure for the disease.
