Launched in October 2007, Green Thing (www.dothegreenthing.com) exists to inspire people to lead a greener life.

Our mission is to help as many people as possible in as many countries as possible to do the Green Thing. And then use this people power to get governments and businesses across the world to do the Green Thing too.

Green Thing is a not-for-profit limited company with surplus profit going to Green Thing Trust, a registered charity.

Green Thing is for anyone who wants to be a bit greener but hasn't found a way.
