Shopping is also another new category for Finds this year. We decided to give it its own award to recognise and reflect the popularity of online shopping. This was a close call as there are so many great, innovative shopping sites around these days, but Split the Atom (www.splittheatom.com) came out on top. This is an exclusive, limited edition t-shirt company which is powered by its customers' creativity. Designers submit their ideas online and these are then rated by customers of the site. The winning designs are then put on sale.

Not only was the idea really unique and engaging, the judges also loved the layout of the site and felt it was not only distinctive in concept but also superior to other shopping sites. In fact, this was one of the favourite sites overall!
